Mahalinga is inactive concealed by tamasa troubled by inactivity, sorrowful because His children are not calling on him for their help. Those who feel His stirring within, fling off the black veil of self, break down the imprisoning walls of indolence help Him save humanity,each as one feels impelled within the body or within intellect with Ishtalinga yoga and with reading Vachanas, with pure work or wealth; each one according to his or her capacity . Those who help Mahalinga advent even a little, will see how radiant with beauty and kindness their face glows as that of Mahalinga.
i. Firmly believe that the accomplishments, talents, education Mahalinga has given me , are all His whatever is essential and needed for maintenance of family has alone claim upon me the rest must be given to Mahalinga or His creation the society. If I spend everything for my comfort or luxury, then I am a thief.
ii. Be determined, somehow you must establish samarassya or oneness with Mahalinga . For this to achieve decide firmly your only path is Ishtalinga yoga or archane . ones you start following His path within short time you start getting hints that He has become part of your experience.
iii. Know that Ishtalinga who is Mahalinga of individual is the creator, maintainer and destroyer of all Jada ( material) Jeeva (life) and chitta( mind ) . Others look upon Ishtalinga as a piece of inert material, to the Lingayata He is father. you should adore Him, pray Him, worship Him and do His yoga. What will his son do when he sees that his father is enslaved & chained in a colonized civilization. Will he quietly have his meal or will he rush to deliver his father from the grasp of the colonizer?.It is not by physical strength but by knowledge & Ishtalinga yoga sadhana. The power of knowledge is supreme when it is strengthened by faith , creativity, morality & valor. All sub castes must unite . These are dark days for humanity and our country. Entire world is seeking refuge at the door step of Sri Basava to deliver them.
